After these speakers for a few months, I went to the local club to play metal my favorite band to see. It looked disgusting than the Cerwin Vegas. I always thought it sounded like a brilliant, but now I know how good music can sound. I joined two of Cerwin Vega 800 watt amplifier. I never had the volume over 20% drop from the images start from the walls. But it is not only the volume of this is at a high volume of clarity. The ear-bleeding levels,every high note and drum beat is clear, precise, clean. I also used this for my wedding and everyone said how beautiful they sound. These are great for all types of music, but they really shine with rock and metal. It 'nice to get some distortion-free bass!
This move also double duty as my front speakers for home theater (I use the analog outputs on my HTPC directly to the amplifiers, I have no receiver). Yes, I'm serious overkill for the front speakers in a20'x20 room, but I wanted to make sure that my music sounded the best. I have to continually optimize the volume, but because it is used in many movie channels L / R with those 15 "speakers to cover the rest of the movie ... I also had the Cerwin Vega V-series center channel, which is fantastic ( Dayton Audio amplifier with a 150) and VE Series Bookshelf Speakers for the area (which uses an audio amplifier base), which pretty well - I especially liked the voice of the speakercoordinated and that all use the same tweeter speakers VE. (I, two Dayton 12 "subtitles ... it was not the best choice because of low CV 15 are much better!)

These speakers are so powerful that I have a hard time to keep my photos on my living room walls are straight! with thundering bass and clear treble the best speakers I have ever had. Please note that your average surround sound amplifier, you will not realize the full potential of these units. I knew in advance and bought a Cerwin Vega CV-1800 Professional Series amplifiers with speakers. At 400 watts per channel into 8 ohms, makes them into real "leg shaker!"Very Happy!
