I use this in a bedroom with a low power amplifier, and still sound good. Speaker can not vary a great location and listening across the room. But these speakers are able to overcome these difficulties with an ease and acceptable sound in any room. This is the main reason why I bought it - pole technology is relatively less placement sensitive than most speakers. Played within its boundaries, the sound is pleasant.
