In shopping for speakers on the ceiling for our Sonos system, I came across HiFi Works. Since its parent company (Sonance) high with a custom install speakers, I thought I'd give them a shot. We installed the pair in our bedroom. They sound great for the price. The bass response was better than I expected.
Installation was a breeze. Cut the holes (I saw a spider with a loop system - they cut a perfect hole), ran the wire connected to the speakers, put themand tighten the screws, replace the grill. Done.
I am planning the construction of these speakers in the kitchen, bedroom, garage, dining room, 5.25-inch speakers in the bathroom, four 8-inch speakers in the living room, and his rock speakers in the courtyard.

cut is actually 7 5 / 8 ", not the 8.15" listed in the description. Since I need to fill an existing cut, this difference was not acceptable.

Although the speakers look and sound great, I had problems with the installation "simple." The screws used to attach the speakers to the wall / ceiling were not long enough to obtain authorization for the "wings" to open behind the wall / ceiling. I needed longer screws, and then it installed fine.
